On today's Review Series Blogpost..

I'm going to review this product.

I have been a loyal follower of Revlon's Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner! But I recently ran out of it and headed to Watsons to purchase a new one. 

But while I was there browsing the beauty aisle... I decided I wanted to try out something new.. 

The Maybelline Impact Express caught my attention! 

Price of the product $17.90
Which i think is excellent and affordable!
I purchased mine at Watsons!
Available at all leading pharmacy..

I used the tester..  and fell in love with the application of the felt tip Eyeliner!

It's so sturdy, not like those soft tips out in the market!

But not so sturdy to the point where it will hurt your eyes!

It glided on so well when i was testing the product.

I bet doing a Winged Eyeliner will be so easy!

So as you can see.. 

The felt tip allows you to draw thin,medium or thick lines!

Which ever you prefer...

I got the color "Very Black" and let me tell you..

Its really Black.. The Blackest of BLACKS!

And OMG.. This product doesn't Smudge at all!! 

You can rub it and it wont come off..

I'm going to show you a short clip of me trying to get the product off!!

So lets put the product to the test with a Full Faced Makeup!

Base makeup is done!

One eye completed using Maybelline Impact Express

Did a winged liner...

 Applied Mascara

 Both eyes are now done..

Application of the product:
It went on very smoothly on the eyes! It simply glided on...
The color is very pigmented and very black just like the product stated!
Making a winged eyeliner look was so easy...

So what goes well with a simple winged eyeliner look?
RED LIPS OF COURSE!!

So just to complete the look.. I added Red Lipstick!

I grade this product "A" 
Final Verdict..

Pregnancy Series:Our 3D Baby Scan

We finally did it!

3D Baby Scan...

I have been waiting for this day to come and it finally did! 
Barely, slept at all because i was so excited..
Seeing her was so amazing.. It wasn't exactly easy to see her because she was faced down.
We did the 3D scan at Parkway East Hospital as recommended by my Doctor,Chen Lin Han.
They are one of the cheapest places to get the scan done.

I laid down on the table for the first scan.. And the Radiologist said "I'm so sorry but she is faced down and we can't get a picture of her face"

I was like "WHAT??!!!" NO WAY!! 
We have to do this scan! It's the last week of pregnancy to get the scan done.
If you didn't know, the 3D scan must be done from weeks 27-30
I was already 30 Weeks & 5 Days!
This was my only shot.

She told me to walk around and come back in 5 minutes and we'll try again later..
I walked, I sat on my side, jiggled my belly & talked to baby...

Second attempt, still no luck.. I told the Radiologist 
"this is my first child! And may be the 
ONLY CHILD WE'LL HAVE!
We have to do this scan..it must be done...I must have that picture of her.. There is no other way!"
Pretty much pleading..

So i got up once again.. and this time i was determined to get her to face up!
WE ARE GETTING A PHOTO OF HER TODAY

So i found a little corner in the hospital and started slow jogging 
I was swaying my body left and right..
I was in Doggy position... I was doing baby push ups...
Rubbing my belly and talking to her!
And PRAYING....

I wanted this scan so badly...

IT WAS TIME! THE FINAL SCAN!

I laid back down and................
SHE TURNED! SHE TURNED! SHE TURNED!

But although she turned.. She was covering her face..
Shy i guess? LOL
It was so cute... Seeing her hands and fingers in front of her face!
And then she YAWNED!
SHE YAWNED!!! THATS CRAZY!!

So taking a photo of her face was a little bit difficult!
They managed though..Kinda..

And then! To make the scan even more tougher.. 
Her Umbilical cord got in the way.. It came from nowhere and now was floating in front of her face!
GREAT!

She sure is making things really hard...
After getting a few more pictures.. 

Guess what? 
Her feet was now in the way! She started
SUCKING ON HER TOES!
Yes!! Sucking on her toes!
And 
Kicking herself in the face!! 
She was so adorable to watch..
I laughed so hard and was so tickled by that!

No more photos could be taken because of the position she was now in..

But thats okay!
We did get a couple of photos..

She has My lips and Daddy's nose..
that's what we think.. HAHAHAHA

We cant wait to meet her...

It was an eventful day filled with so much of emotions..
Up & Down..
Up mostly because we were going to do the 3D scan and see her!
Down because i just found out that i'm not eligible for this years GST Voucher..
Not for shopping reasons.. it was all going to Bayli and her endless baby appointments and downpayment for Mount Alvernia Hospital Delivery.
So that was a Bummer..

But brushing that aside! We had an awesome day!

I'm going to put this product to the test!

A quick history on my skin type:

I have combination & Oily skin.

Mostly dry on the sides of my face

But extremely oily in my T Zone!

My Nose being the most oily followed by my forehead.

So this product is absolutely Up My Alley!

This is how the product looks like outside of the tube!

Its translucent!

After Applying the Primer 

My Face looks super matte which is awesome but I hope it stays that way throughout the day.. 

Application wise... It applies very easily and feels very velvety soft and smooth.

It really leaves my skin feeling so soft and supple and Shine Free!

So far so good Maybelline! 

This is how my face looks like after putting on the rest of makeup! 

In Love with the end results! My Foundation and concealer went on so smoothly and blended in very well. My foundation and concealer didn't settle in any of my fine lines which is awesome because I have some fine lines under my eyes. Foundation and concealer always settles  in them. 

So lets see if the Primer can prevent that after wearing it the whole day!

Nothing a Blotting Sheet Cant Fix!

And also, i don't look that Oily in photo!
Still pretty Matte!
Im going to Grade this product an "A" for being a Pharmacy Brand

I cant believe it... Ive finally hit the BIG 3..

In 1 week i will be in my 8th MONTH!

In 7 weeks i will be full term. Thats INSANE!

She could come at any time after that..

Seems like there's not enough time.... But i am so excited to finally meet My Little Boxer!

Final Lap Guys!!!

"DURING PREGNANCY"!

My Breasts Changes During Pregnancy

(PART 1)

Let's begin shall we?

In my first trimester, i didn't really notice a major change in my breast.. they just felt like i was about to get my period..

A little swollen, sore and heavy... Nothing major!

Then came second trimester, Oh Boy!

That's when the changes started happening.. It was very gradual and at a very steady rate..

Every other day, i noticed the size of my boobies changing.

At first, all my bras that i normally reached for were fitting fine,

but as the days went by... The bras got tighter and tighter!

I was being "BOOB strangled" by my bras!

Yes that's right! BOOB STRANGLED!

I couldn't breathe in them anymore... And they became so uncomfortable!

I wanted to be bra-less all day!

But i heard its really bad cause it may lead to saggy saggy boobs!

And no one wants that!

So i changed out my smaller bras which weren't even small to begin with!! Because i did already HAVE BOOBS before getting knocked up!

I was a 38D before pregnancy and now i'm like EFGHIJKL!

I don't know..

Bras that i used to set aside because they were a tad bit too big for me are now fitting well! 

So size wise... i've been UPGRADED! 

LOL

BUT THE HUSBAND LIKES IT!

I guess it's more exciting for those girls who are naturally small!

Its more of a hassle for those who are naturally big chested!

  <3

The next change was the color of my areola!

Yes you heard right... your areola will change to a darker shade!

Not like pitch black! But just darker..

If you had pink nipples=It will probably turn light brown

If you had light brown nipples=It will probably turn dark brown

If you had dark brown nipples=It will probably turn almost black

Thats just my calculation!

It will eventually fade off after birth so fear not!

Below are some reasons why that happens..

Why Changes in the Areola Occur??

The changes in the areola during pregnancy occur for good reason. The Montgomery glands protect the area from infection and they provide a lubricant to prepare the skin for breastfeeding. The skin thickens to prepare for suckling!

The darker skin on the areola provides a stark contrast, which helps the baby spot the milk source. Newborns have blurry eyesight and the prominent difference in color may help them latch on easier. Enlarged nipples are better for nursing and the thicker skin offers protection from injury. 

All for a good cause mummies!!

I had trouble with the changes at first, but it doesn't bother me now that i know why its happening!

Females are so awesome!

Then when i hit my Third Trimester, more Boob changes!

Next change, increasing diameter of my areola and nipple enlarging and erecting!!!!

Your probably thinking right now.. WHAT THE F***!!??

Relax.. Its not as bad as it sounds!

Reasons why there is an increase in diameter of the areola..?

Well, its just something that progresses throughout pregnancy as the size of your boobs enlarges!

It's only temporary!

Reasons why the nipple enlarges and erects..?

Simple! Its to prepare for the nursing of your baby!

Cool Huh?

Oh and before i forget, The last change is the temperature of my boobs! They are so so HOT!

Not HOT in that sense! But like super Hot to the touch!

Its like as if my boobs are ovens and are warming up the milk!

I don't know.. Its really weird! 

And also.. They get really HEAVY!!

Oh i lied! One other thing as well..

Your nipples may tend to get dry so REMEMBER!!

MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE!

When your slapping on all the oils and lotions on your belly..

Don't forget Your Nip Nips!

They need LOVE too!!Show them some tender lovin care!

Keep them Supple!!! LOL

And you wont regret it!

ANYWAY...

Us mums!! We are FREAKIN ALIENS!

Don't you agree? The coolest kinds!

We can grow A Human in our Belly! Our body changes in so many ways and gets ready for the baby! Producing MILK!

Seriously.....

WE WOMEN ARE AWESOME!

Are not forgetting GOD!! 

HE IS JUST AS COOL!
